A Good Job Is Hard to Find

In the article Global Migration Patterns and Job Creation, The CEO of Gallup sums up findings from their World Poll in a single sentence:

What the whole world wants is a good job.

Think about that. The beautiful simplicity of this statement reveals dramatic implications for all business leaders worldwide. It also validates why talent management has become so critical to business success.

Its time to take talent personally. Suddenly HR leaders, recruiters, and talent savvy line managers have been given the responsibility to deliver on the most important desire of most people worldwide and reap the rewards.

But you need smart tools for everyone to use. You need talent intelligence to align individual skills and competencies with personal career desires, open positions, and company goals; then measure performance, compensate accordingly, and develop individuals for succession and success.

So if you are a smart company, its time to show you care. Invest in your employment brand with the kind of talent intelligence that delivers what people value the most: a good job. Combine that with the documented business returns and its a no brainer.
