Taleo employs state-of-the art technology, management practices, and physical security to keep your data safe. We have a total commitment to a secure, scalable, private on-site system. Unlike an outsourced hosted system arrangement, at Taleo we personally manage all aspects of our own operations.

24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, Taleo uses:

We perform frequent hardware and software upgrades, providing you with the highest possible levels of availability, performance, and disaster recovery. Regular backups of your data are also an important part of our standard service. In addition, if you'd prefer to maintain a physical copy of your Taleo Business Edition data in your own office, we offer an On-Demand Backup Service via secure download allowing you to retrieve a full backup of your data as often as you like.

Privacy
We believe your private information should stay that way. Therefore, we've adopted strict guidelines and practices to ensure that your confidential personal and business information remains secure. For more information, see our Privacy statement.

Data Ownership
In addition to our comprehensive privacy policy, Taleo guarantees exclusive ownership of your data. Our employees do not have direct access to the Taleo production equipment, except where necessary for system management, maintenance, monitoring, and backups. In addition, Taleo does not utilize any managed service providers. Our team directly provides all system management, maintenance, monitoring, and backups at our hosting facilities.

As a standard part of our Service Subscription Agreement, if at any point your organization chooses to cancel its Taleo Business Edition subscription, we will provide you with a full copy of your data via our On-Demand Backup Service.
