With the Taleo Business Edition Internet Explorer Sourcebar (IE Sourcebar), you no longer need to switch back and forth between Taleo Business Edition and the resume sites you visit while searching for new candidates. Tightly integrated into Internet Explorer, IE Sourcebar is a simple, easy-to-use add-on for your browser allowing you to quickly import candidates into your Taleo Business Edition system while sourcing online in your favorite job boards and resume sites. No more switching between windows, saving and uploading, or cutting and pasting from one application to another.

Requirements:

  An active Taleo Business Edition account (subscription or trial)
  Windows 95/98/2000/XP/NT
  Internet Explorer 5.0 or later

Installation instructions:

1. Download and run SBinstall.exe

2. Click "Yes" to agree to the licensing terms.

3. Leave both checkboxes selected and click "UNZIP". This will unzip installation files to your local programs directory (by default C:\Program Files\Taleo\sourcebar) and automatically start the installation process.

4. Once the installation is complete you can use the Sourcebar immediately. In Internet Explorer click the Taleo candidate icon in the toolbar, or navigate to the "View" menu and select "Explorer Bar", then select "Recruitforce.com". The Sourcebar will appear in the left side of your Internet Explorer browser window.

5. Provide your login credentials to get started. You will be taken to a new candidate form allowing you to add candidates to your Taleo Business Edition system without leaving that browser window.
