Software Industry Veteran Jim Maikranz Elected to Recruitsoft Board of Directors

Former SAP and J.D. Edwards SVP Worldwide Sales and IT industry veteran with more than 35 years of experience joins Recruitsoft's Board of Directors

San Francisco, CA – October 16, 2003

Recruitsoft, Inc., the leading provider of staffing management services and solutions, today announced the recent appointment of Jim Maikranz to its Board of Directors. Maikranz has held a variety of senior executive positions at large and global technology and software companies for the past 35 years serving customers throughout the world.

Maikranz brings a strong background in sales, strategic consulting and business development experience. Most recently, Maikranz served as the senior vice president, worldwide sales, at J.D. Edwards, where he was responsible for the development and overall execution of worldwide sales strategies, sales support activities and strategic alliances. Prior to joining J.D. Edwards, Maikranz served as the senior vice president of worldwide sales for SAP, where he developed sales strategies, participated in global pricing strategies and established competitive positioning initiatives. At SAP, he was also responsible for spearheading and implementing marketing strategies for specific vertical industries such as healthcare, retail, financial, utility and telecommunication. Jim also has excelled in a number of senior roles at a variety of other successful companies, including NCR, IBM, and Cullinet Software.

Additionally, he has served on the Board of Directors and Advisory Boards of a number of high-growth and early-stage software companies including i2, Iona, Netfish, Healy Hudson, Splash Pond, Stratascope, Swift Rivers, DataSynapse, and Servigistics.
