Why Learn.com?
The Learning Management Systems market is a vibrant, $1 billion segment, driving double digit growth and Learn.com is unique in that it is the leading “pure SaaS” Learning Management System provider. Today, Learn.com has over 500 customers, including MetLife, McKesson and Newell Rubbermaid, Inc. Learn.com stands out from the competition because of its pure SaaS model, usability, configurability and social networking capabilities. In 2009, Taleo and Learn.com announced a partnership and joint solution and there has been a tremendous response from the market. Customers and prospects particularly like Learn.com’s combination of formal and social learning capabilities. This mix provides important data to enrich the Talent Intelligence already provided by Taleo’s solutions.
Why should learning be part of a Talent Management suite?
With this acquisition, Taleo further bolsters its Talent Intelligence value proposition and its single view of talent. With the addition of Learn.com, Taleo’s Talent Profile can now capture the full learning lifecycle to track development progress, certification scores and mentoring assignments. Combining this data with validated past experience, current performance and career interests and future ambitions, provides vital visibility into the workforce and enables executives and HR to get the most out of their people.
And, with Learn.com, Taleo takes its learning and collaboration capabilities to the next level across its entire talent management suite. Learn.com adds rich discussion forums, collaborative file management, web conferencing, desktop sharing, and wiki-like portal capabilities -- social features that can be used a la carte or in combination. When used together, these features power an unlimited number of enterprise collaboration portals, including externally-facing portals, such as alumni, partner, and channel communities.
Will Taleo continue to support Learn.com’s customer base? If so, how will you do that?
Taleo will fully support and invest in Learn.com’s learning and development products as strategic components of our end-to-end talent management solution. Taleo’s customer support and customer satisfaction have been critical to the company’s growth and success in the market. Taleo will deliver that same level of service to Learn.com’s customers.
